Abstract:
PURPOSE:To dynamically alter the application of limited number of switches, and to obtain a peripheral equipment at high operability by changing the functional role of each switch provided at the peripheral equipment according to the alteration of a function, and displaying the functional role of each switch on a display screen. CONSTITUTION:On the console panel surface of a peripheral equipment 41 a switch group 45a consisting of the plural switches and a key application display part 43a which video-displays the functional role of each switch corresponding to each switch are provided, and inside the peripheral equipment 41, a memory part 10 which stores the information of the screen indicating the functional role alteration-displayed on the display part 43a according to the function switching of the peripheral equipment, and a display screen switching means 7, which reads the corresponding screen information from memory parts 9 and 10 based on a switch input signal and is inputted to display parts 42a and 43a, are provided. Thus the switch 45a conforming to the new function of the peripheral equipment 41 can be selected based on the picture on the display screens 42a and 43a, and the key information can be inputted.
