This peripheral equipment server is provided with a power supply dividing means 503 connected to an external lighting circuit 504 for dividing electric power fed from it to one or a plurality of parts, one or more power supply feeding means 402 connected to the power supply dividing means for feeding electric power to the peripheral equipment, a power supply rectifier circuit 502 connected to the power supply dividing means for transforming alternating current power fed from it into predetermined direct current power, a network connection means 506 connected to a network cable 505 for performing data communication with a network, a data conversion means 501 performing conversion mutually between data transmitted/received to/from the peripheral equipment and data transmitted/received to/from the network, and one or more data connection means 403 connected to the data conversion means for performing data communication with the peripheral equipment.
