Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a periphery monitoring device capable of detecting distance in whole circumferential direction with respect to a movement direction axis of a moving body, with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A periphery monitoring device comprises: a distance sensor S disposed on a support shaft CS protruding from a moving body 2 toward a movement direction A side of the moving body 2, and detecting a distance of a wall face 1a of a drift 1 in whole circumferential direction with respect to a movement direction axis C of the moving body 2 passing the moving body 2; a three-dimensional distance information calculation part for calculating three-dimensional distance information of the wall face 1a, based on the distance detected by the distance sensor S; a proximity detection processing part for calculating a distance between the wall face 1a and the moving body 2, based on the three-dimensional shape information of the moving body 2 and the three-dimensional distance information, and detecting a proximity state of the moving body 2 to the wall face 1a; and a periphery monitoring output processing part for outputting the periphery monitoring information containing the proximity state detected by the proximity detection processing part to an output part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
