To provide a permanent-magnet electromotor in which harmonics of gap flux density distribution are reduced without increasing the cost, as well as, the harmonics included in contained voltage are reduced and which has small torque ripples.
The permanent-magnet electromotor is provided with an armature 1, having windings for producing a shifting field, and a field magnet which is arranged opposite to the armature 1 via a magnetic gap G and has a plurality of permanent magnets, arranged in a moving member core 2, where a magnetic substance board is laminated at prescribed pitches so that the adjacent magnets alternately have opposite polarity. The permanent magnet 1 is split into a plurality of magnets per pole and is constituted of split magnets 3, 4 and 5, whose magnetization directions are arranged in the same direction.
