Title:
PERMANENT MAGNET SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3688475
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain sufficient mechanical strength even at the time of high-speed rotation of a rotor, by integrating a magnetic metal ring formed into a cylindrical shape with a rotor so as to sandwich a magnet, thereby ensuring electrical characteristics and magnetic properties and reducing an adverse mechanical effect on a permanent magnet.
SOLUTION: This permanent magnet synchronous machine 1 is formed into a cylindrical shape and provided with a stator 3 in which a plurality of coils 7 are disposed with a fixed spacing, a rotor 4 with a permanent magnet 11 disposed on its surface and rotatably disposed inside the stator 3, and cylindrically shaped two magnetic metal rings 8, 9 integrated with the rotor 4 with the permanent magnet 11 sandwiched. It is thus possible to attain working precision and aligning precision required for the rotor 4 while simplifying a manufacturing process, and to dramatically improve the productivity in manufacturing the rotor 4.
