To provide a permanent-wave apparatus which achieves excellent permanent-wave application effects as compared with the conventional types along with simultaneous service for many people by improving curlers and fabrics for curlers.

The permanent-wave apparatus is built by combining a plurality of permanent-wave devices 1. Each permanent-wave device 1 provided with a plurality of curlers and one or several wrapping fabrics has an outer shell 11, a power source unit 12 provided in the outer shell 11 and a plurality of rolling up rollers and is fixed on a hanging arm hanging down. The wrapping fabrics wrapped on the curlers are each made up of an heater and an insulating material completely covering the heater. The heater has an electric wire linked thereto and generates heat by electricity applied thereto. Moreover, the surface of the insulating material is coated with one layer of a ceramic powder and has a function to yielding effects of generating heat utilizing characteristics thereof. A controller is also linked to allow the setting of heating temperature and time simultaneously or separately for the individual permanent-wave devices 1 and power source units 12.
