Abstract:
To provide a magnetic permeability sensor with which, of a simple construction though, it is possible to suppress the influence of a temperature fluctuation and detect a change of magnetic permeability of a detection object with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The magnetic permeability sensor comprises: first and second coils; a first oscillation circuit which includes the first coil and oscillates; a second oscillation circuit which includes the second coil and oscillates; a measurement unit for measuring the number of oscillation pulses in each of the first and second oscillation circuits; an adjustment unit for adjusting the duration for measuring the number of oscillation pulses in the first oscillation circuit by the measurement unit and/or the duration for measuring the number of oscillation pulses in the second oscillation circuit by the measurement unit; a calculation unit for calculating a difference in the number of oscillation pulses measured by the measurement unit; and a conversion unit for converting the difference calculated by the calculation unit into magnetic permeability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
