To provide a steel permeable sluice that can be used as a large-scale sand-preventing sluice having a large height.
The permeable sand-preventing sluice 1 includes a metal sand-preventing sluice body 2 formed by crossing a plurality of columnar members 5 and 6 made of a metal material vertically and horizontally, and a support foundation 4 which supports the metal sand-preventing sluice 1 when an external force by ground flows, etc., is applied to the metal sand-preventing sluice body 2. The metal sand-preventing sluice body 2 is composed of the upper sluice body 2a and a lower sluice body 2b that are split vertically. The support foundation 4 has both side sleeves 4a and 4a supporting the upper sluice body 2a, and a bottom 4b supporting the lower sluice body 2b. Out of the columnar members 5 and 6 composing the upper sluice body 2a, columnar members 5a and 5a at both ends are fixed and supported by the side sleeves 4a and 4a, while out of the columnar members 5 and 6 composing the lower sluice body 2b, the lower ends 5b of the vertical columnar members 5 are fixed and supported on the bottom 4b.
