Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growth system for advantageously using a boundless three-dimensional space without using soil while saving water, as a substitute of a conventional style two-dimensional (2D) outdoor farming method.SOLUTION: A permeable three dimensional multi-layer farming system is provided, the system including: a plant body; a nutrient source to be supplied to the plant body; and a growth element network for sustaining growth of the plant body in a non-soil manner, the growth element network being a string of mutually connected array structures, at least one layer having permeability to common resources.
