Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block the passing of a boulder flow and drift wood in a water-reducing period in a flood, particularly, after a flood peak, when sediment flows down to the downstream side of an erosion control dam by passing through a slit in normal time.SOLUTION: A screen for covering the slit 12 in the central vicinity of the permeable type erosion control dam, is divided into upper-lower two stages, and the screen of the upper stage is fixed to an upper part of the slit 12, and is formed as a drift wood capturing screen 14, and the screen of the lower stage is formed as a sediment capturing screen 20 so as to vertically move, and the sediment capturing screen 20 is pulled upward in the normal time, and when requiring a countermeasure for preventing the boulder flow, the sediment capturing screen 20 pulled upward is lowered to the lower stage, to cover a lower part of the slit 12.
