To provide a highly safe peroral article guiding material which has a bridge having a length longitudinally of a guiding material body greater than the distance between the lower end of a ring and a stopper before starting the use of the guiding material.
The peroral article guiding material 1 comprises the guiding material body 3 equipped with a suction inlet 21, and a cap 4 covering the suction inlet 21. The cap 4 is equipped with a cap body 11, and the cylindrical ring (ring) 12 having the bridge 14 connected to the lower part of the cap body 11 and a blade 13 formed on the lower end part 16 of the cylindrical ring 12. Upon starting to use the guiding material, the cap body 11 is turned relative to the cylindrical ring 12 to sever the bridge 14 from the cap body 11 to separate the cylindrical ring 12 from the cap body 11. The guiding material body 3 is equipped with a stopper 23 which receives the cylindrical ring 12 separated from the cap body 11, and a projection 25 on which the blade 13 is hooked and which is close to the bridge 14 before starting to use the guiding material. The length L of the bridge 14 in the longitudinal direction of the guiding material body 3 is greater than the distance H between the lower end part 16 of the cylindrical ring 12 and the stopper 23 before starting the use of the guiding material.
