Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical belt conveyor, which can convey a conveyed article in an excellent state without leaking during conveyance even if the article is small-sized, light-weighted and soft.SOLUTION: In a vertical belt conveyor 1 configured so that a belt 3A of a main belt conveyor 3 and a belt 2A of a hold belt conveyor 2 convey a conveyed article in a vertical direction on a vertical conveyance path 31 directed vertically in parallel running parts, at which surfaces of the belts are made to oppose and approach each other, while sandwiching the conveyed article between the parallel running parts, a pair of groove member 10A having a guide groove 11 with opposing guide surfaces provided across a longitudinal direction are arranged to cover a predetermined range including at least a center part of the vertical conveyance path 31, and the opposing guide surfaces approach back sides of both belts 2A and 3A respectively and hold both belts 2A and 3A while making surfaces of both end sides in a width direction of both belts 2A and 3A to approach each other, in a state where both end sides are inserted into the guide groove 11 up to a predetermined depth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
