Title:
PERSISTENT PERFUME-IMPARTING TREATMENT PROCESS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP01246478
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a perfume-imparted fibrous structure excellent in persistency and slow-releasability by treatment of a fibrous structure with a solution containing perfume-adsorbed inorganic porous powder and a silicone-based organic compound followed by heat treatment.

CONSTITUTION: A fibrous structure is imparted, through e.g., a padding process, with a treating liquid containing a silicone-based organic compound (e.g., dimethylpolysilicone) and inorganic powder prepared by adsorbing a natural or synthetic perfume on inorganic porous powder (e.g., of calcium carbonate or barium carbonate, with a particle size of 0.1-50μ and pore size of 20-600), followed by heat treatment, thus obtaining the objective fibrous structure outstanding in washing durability and slow-releasability, retaining perfume for a long period. Said fiber is pref., in particular, cotton, silk or wool in terms of durability.
