Abstract:
To correctly detect a person without being affected by a shadow in the person detection targeting a camera image in which the person and his/her shadow are imaged.SOLUTION: A frame image acquisition unit 101 acquires a frame image. An initial registration unit 102 initially registers all of person areas (BB) in a frame. A person area candidate extraction unit 103 extracts a person area candidate (candidate BB) from each following frame after the initial registration of BB and acquires its confidence level T. A similarity calculation unit 104 calculates a similarity Q to each candidate BB of the current frame for each BB registered in the preceding frame. A person area registration unit 105 registers the registered BB of the preceding frame or the corresponding candidate BB of the current frame in the current frame as BB on the basis of the confidence level T and the similarity Q.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
