Abstract:
To reduce the cost of an IC card used for personal identification.
This personal identification system 101 comprises a card registration device 11 for registering biological information of a plurality of users in a single IC card, and a personal identification device 12 for acquiring the biological information of a user that is the subject of personal identification, comparing the acquired biological information with the biological information in the IC card, determining the user concerned as a right user when the biological information of the user is matched to the biological information of any user in the IC card.
