Abstract:

To provide a personal computer classroom system which allows even middle-aged and senior adults, especially senior citizens to easily learn computer operation, and provides attentive one-to-one instructions etc., to thereby enhance learning effect of the learners.

The personal computer classroom system is formed of: an entrance 2; a learning area 3 where a suitable number of personal computers P are arranged in order that instructors teach computer operation or that the learners acquire the computer operation by themselves; a standby area 5 where the learners etc. entering a classroom wait, a utility area 6 where tatami mats are bedded, for instance, for use as a spare room; and a staff room area 8 which the instructors, support staff members, etc. use and where they wait for the learners. The personal computer classroom system is further formed of a dressing room area 7 provided with a toilet and hand-washing facility, if necessary. Each personal computer P is composed of a touch panel and a screen input device of a digitizer switchable type, and accessible networks include at least one of a local medical institution, a local financial institution, a local shopping area, an e-mail system, an administrative agency, and a support organization.
