Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve customer service by providing the personal identification number input equipment composed of a key pad (KP) freely attachably and detachably connected to a key pad holder (KH) connected to the main body of a transaction processor by a line wire.
CONSTITUTION: A personal identification code input equipment 400 is composed of a KP 402 freely attachably and detachably mounted to a KH 401 connected to a main body 110 of the transaction processor by the line wire. The KP 402 and the KH 401 are equipped with data transmitting/receiving means composed of light emitting elements and light receiving elements to transmit/receive data by photocoupling in the state of mounting the both. The personal identification number input equipment 400 transmits a personal identification number which is inputted by the key operation of a customer responding to the input request command of the personal identification number from the main body 110 of the processor, to the main body 110 of the processor while responding to a transmission request command following to the input request command. Therefore, the KP 402 to input the personal identification number can be freely carried, and the personal identification number can be inputted anywhere inside or outside a shop.
