Communication data to be stored in the personal information terminal belong to any one of plural previously determined items in accodance with its contents and allowed to flow like radio broadcasting. At the time of detecting the incoming of data, power is supplied to an amplifier and a control circuit (step 402). When the item ID and version ID of received radio communication data exist, the version ID is stored and the data are destructed when the item ID of newly received communication data does not coincide with item ID received and specified by a user (step 404 : N) and the version ID of the data coincides with version ID specified by the user (step 407: N). The communication data are entered in a non-volatile memory (ferroelectric memory) or destructed based on user specification.
