Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare PET bottle-packed rice capable of dispensing with the labor of washing rice, preventing the deterioration of the quality or rice, improving the storability and accordingly improving the taste, and further enabling the economization and the reduction of environmental pollution.
SOLUTION: The raw rice 1 packed in a PET bottle 2. The rice 1 has been washed. The PET bottle 2 is compounded with a coloring agent (preferably, green on brown coloring agent having high ultraviolet absorbing effect) and an ultraviolet absorbing agent (e.g. a polyethylene naphthalate-based agent).
