To provide a pet-use coffin not bulky for its storage or transportation and suitable for reuse or recycling; a method of delivery and collection of a pet-use coffin in which the coffin is delivered to the user, the coffin housing remains is delivered to a crematory, and after taking out an inner box housing pet's remains from the coffin delivered to the crematory, the coffin is collected for reuse or recycling it.

The pet-use coffin 1 includes a prefabricated coffin body 12 with its top side open, a lid 11 detachably attached to the open part and an inner box 2 with its top side open used to be put into the coffin body 12. The coffin body 12 includes a bottom plate 14, a pair of foldable sidewalls 15 attached to the bottom plate 14 as double-hinged state, and a pair of connection walls 13 to be detachably placed between the sidewalls 15 for connection to them standing erect from the bottom plate. The inner box is of a size just fitted into the coffin body and includes a prefabricated corrugated inner box body, an inside mat and a water absorptive sheet to be laid in the inner box.
