Abstract:
To provide a pharmacological method for preventing or ameliorating sleep-related breathing disorders.
A therapeutic agent obtained by using a combination of a serotonin receptor antagonist and a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor is administered to a patient. Specifically, the serotonin receptor antagonist is ondansetron, and the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor is one selected from a group consisting of fluoxetine and paroxetine.
