Abstract:
Compositions containing an azetidine derivative (I) optionally with an azetidine potentiator, and an excipient system containing at least two active materials, a nonionic hydrophilic surfactant that solubilizes (I) to form a colloidal system, and a lipophilic product that stabilizes the formulation. Compositions containing an azetidine derivative of formula (I) optionally with an azetidine potentiator, and an excipient system containing at least two active materials, a nonionic hydrophilic surfactant that solubilizes (I) to form a colloidal system, and a lipophilic product that stabilizes the formulation. Ar = aromatic or heteroaromatic group, optionally substituted by one or more 1-4C alkyl, halo, NO2, CN, 1-4C alkoxy, or OH; and dotted line = optional double bond. An Independent claim is also included for kits containing a composition as defined and a composition that potentiates the effects of the azetidine, specifically sibutramine, or a composition that activates dopaminergic neurotransmission in the brain.
