Abstract:
To provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating dry eye disease, and to provide a sterile preparation.
This pharmaceutical composition is suitable for intraocular administration so as to stimulate tear secretion or to treat dry eye, wherein the composition contains a compound selected from a group comprising uridine 5'-triphosphate, dinucleotides expressed by formulae II, IIa, and IIb, adenosine 5'-triphosphate, cytidine 5'-triphosphate, their active analogs and derivatives, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and further contains a vehicle suitable for the intraocular administration and having physiological compatibility. The compound is contained in a concentration of 0.25-50 mg/ml.
