Title:
PHARYNGOSCOPE DIPPABLE INTO LIQUID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05309070
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent any malfunction of a lamp circuit due to leakage of a cleaning solvent into a handle, when a blade is set up to the handle, by directing a light against a photoconductive device supported by the blade and providing a liquid sealing means between its light source and the handle. CONSTITUTION: The handle 12 of a blade 11 is rotated to fix it at a functioning position and simultaneously a bottom surface part 26 or a metal is engaged with a lighting switch 24, and further a light source 25 is additively fixed. The additively fixed lamp directs the light against an edge part 28a of a duct 28, which guides the light to a light emitting edge 28b of the blade 11. The duct 28 may be an optical fiber. A liquid sealing device is provided between the lamp and the handle 12 so as for a liquid not to penetrate into the handle when the handle 12 is dipped in the liquid. The device has an elastic barrel part 55 to hold the lamp, and the lamp has a handle part 25a in a fluid-tight state with its internal hole 56, and further a barrel part 55 has a tubular surface 57 in a fluid-light state with the internal hole 58 of the handle 11.
