Abstract:

To detect a phase error between received signals of an adjacent frame, which can apply an LMS algorithm with an easy arithmetic to a TDMA radio system.

The phase of a training signal composed of symbols arranged in each frame of a received signal is rotated in each prescribed rotation angle, the rotated training signal and a tap gain coefficient obtained in the previous frame are subjected to a complex arithmetic, a complex arithmetic result of a symbol which is the same as that of the transmission time of a prestored training signal and the tap gain coefficient is added to the complex arithmetic, an equalized output y is outputted in each prescribed rotation angle, an error e=d-y between the y and the symbol d at the transmission time is operated, the square error J=e2 of the e is operated to output the square error J of every prescribed rotation angle, a minimum square error is retrieved from a plurality of square errors J, and a rotation angle θ to be a minimum square error is detected as a phase error of the received signal.
