To provide a phase difference measuring device capable of continuously and stably measuring the phase difference between two input signals in a range of 0 to 360 degrees.
A phase difference is calculated by subjecting two input signals R and M to clock division at an R-signal clock division circuit 101 and an M signal clock division circuit 102 and performing an exclusive OR of the two clock-divided signals with a phase difference output circuit 103. A phase difference calculating unit 122 calculates the phase difference between the input signals R and M on the basis of the phase difference between the clock-divided signals output from the phase difference output circuit 103. A phase difference contradiction solving circuit 110 resets the R signal clock division circuit 101 when the phase difference has run out of the 0 to 360 period range. Two phase difference measuring circuits 100 and 200 differ in measurable range, and a selector 16 selects a phase difference output from a phase difference measuring circuit whose phase difference signal duty is close to 50%.
