To solve the problem wherein arc-extinguishing plates resonate as a source of noise, and a welding part which secures the arc-extinguishing plates is damaged since an arc-extinguishing device having a structure where a plurality of metal plates (arc-extinguishing plates) are mountain-folded and arrayed in parallel is attached in a window tunnel and cooling air passing between the arc-extinguishing plates arrayed side by side is disturbed, in a phase separation bus of the existing forced cooling method.
The structure of arc-extinguishing plates 6a of an arc-extinguishing device 6 attached in a window tunnel 5 employs a honeycomb construction. Hence, the resonance of the arc-extinguishing plates is eliminated to provide a silent phase separation bus in which the arc-extinguishing plates are not damaged.
