Abstract:
To provide a phase shifter which enables processing cost reduction.
The phase shifter 10 has a multilayered film structure consisting of transparent electrodes 13, 14 formed on a pair of substrates 11, 12 having transparency for specified light, alignment films 15, 16 formed on the transparent electrodes 13, 14, spacers 17, 18 to keep a space having a specified gap between the alignment films 15, 16 on the pair of substrates 11, 12 showing transparency for specified light and facing each other, and a solid UV-curing liquid crystal or a mixture 20 of a UV-curing resin and a liquid crystal interposed between the alignment films 15, 16 on the pair of substrates 11, 12 showing transparency for specified light and facing each other.
