Title:
PHASED ARRAY ANTENNA DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3723062
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress electrical performance degradation such as a beam directional error and a side lobe level increase, even if a delay error occurs at a real-time delay phase shifter.
SOLUTION: The device comprises multiple element antennas 1, a 360-degree phase shifter 2 which changes the phase of high frequency electric signals of the antennas 1 within the range of 360 degree, a real-time delay phase shifter 5 which changes the delay time of high frequency electric signals of a sub-array 3, a beam scan angle instruction circuit 8 which instructs the main beam direction, a real-time delay phase shifter controller 9 which controls the real-time delay phase shifter 5, a correction phase memory device 10 which stores correction phases, a correction phase instruction circuit 11 which acquires information for the delay time of each real-time delay phase shifter and instructs a correction phase based on the delay time of each real-time delay phase shifter, and a 360-degree phase shifter controller 12 which controls the 360-degree phase shifter 2 according to the instruction from the beam scan phase instruction circuit 8 and the correction phase instruction circuit 11.
