Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which has excellent compatibility and can give a laminate of good punching quality by adding ethylenediamine to the system in a state of a resol resin as a precondensate in a reaction for forming a phenol resin and performing the reaction to a semicured state. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is prepared by adding ethylenediamine to the system in a state of a resol resin as a precondensate in a reaction for forming a phenol resin (desirably a drying oil-modified phenol resin) and performing the reaction to a semicured state. A base is impregnated with a varnish obtained by dissolving this composition in a solvent and dried to form a prepreg, and the necessary number of such prepregs are laminated and molded under applied heat and pressure to give a laminate.
