Abstract:
PURPOSE: The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a phenolic resin with a castor oil epoxy compound, and capable of giving laminated boards having improved flexibility, low-temperature punchability and heat and impact resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A phenolic resin composition obtained by incorporating a castor oil epoxy compound as a modifying agent. An addition reaction product at 0.2W 10, preferably 1W3mol ratio between the epoxy resin and the castor oil is used as the castor oil epoxy compound, and the amount thereof to be used is 2W 100phr, preferably 20W50phr.
