Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound capable of binding to arachidonic acid cascade receptors, having a blood platelet coagulation-inhibiting action and useful for treating thrombosis, arteriosclerosis, or the like.
SOLUTION: A compound of formula I [A is a group of formula II (R9 is H, phenyl or the like; (m) is 1-3) or the like; T is a single bond, a 1-6C alkylene, a 2-6C alkenylene or the like; D is CO2R10, CONR11R12 (R10 is H, a 1-12C alkyl; R11, R12 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl or the like); R13 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, an alkoxy, nitro or the like], preferably 3-[3-(4-diphenylmethylpyrrazol-1-yl) propyl]phenoxyacetic acid. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula III (R10a is methyl or ethyl) with a compound of the formula: R2-ONH2 (R2 is phenyl or the like) in an inert organic solvent such as tetrahydrofuran at 0-70°C and subsequently reducing the obtained compound with a reducing agent such as sodium borohydride in the presence of an acid such as hydrochloric acid at 0-70°C.
