Abstract:
To prepare a new compound useful for controlling animal pests such as insects, arachnides or nematodes.
This compound is represented by formula I [R1 is a 1-4C alkyl; R2 is cyano, a 1-4C alkyl or the like; (m) is 0-2; R3 is H, a 1-4C alkyl or the like; R4 and R6 are each H, a 1-10C alkyl or the like; R5 is H, a 1-6C alkyl or the like], e.g. a compound represented by formula II. The compound represented by formula I is prepared by reacting a hydroxyimine represented by formula III with a benzyl derivative represented by formula IV (L1 is a nucleophilically replaceable leaving group).
