PURPOSE: To produce the phosphate chemical conversion treating liquid for the constituting body of an Fe-Al metallic sheet having excellent chemical convertability by preparing the phosphate chemical conversion treating liquid contg. respective ions of Zn, Mo, Mn, PO4, NO3, NO2, Al and total F under specific conditions.
CONSTITUTION: The phosphate chemical conversion treating liquid which contains 0.4 to 2.5g/l zinc ion, 0.5 to 3.5g/l, Ni ion, 0.4 to 2.0g/l, Mn ion, 8 to 30g/l phsphoric acid ion, 2.0 to 20g/l nitric acid ion, 10 to 250ppm nitrous acid ion, 1 to 1000ppm Al ion and 10 to 3500ppm total fluorine, has ≥1.6 molar ratio of the Ni ion to the Al ion, ≥5.0 molar ratio of the total fluorine to the Al ion ≥0.3 molar ratio of the Ni ion to the total fluorine, and 0.1 to 5 points degree of free acid is prepd. The treating liquid which prevents the deterioration of the chemical convertability by the Al intruded from the material to be treated is obtd. in this way in the treatment of the constituting body of the Fe-A metallic sheet.
