To provide a phosphinoferrocene group-containing oligomer usable as a component for a catalyst for amination reaction or the like, and to provide a reusable, inexpensive and heterogeneous catalyst containing the oligomer and a transition metal, usable for the amination reaction or the like, and capable of being readily recovered.
The phosphinoferrocene group-containing oligomer has a repeating unit containing a polyol-dehydrated residue bonded to the phosphinoferrocene group, and the oligomer is formed by the repeat of the repeating unit and has a number average molecular weight of 1,000-10,000. The heterogeneous catalyst contains the phosphinoferrocene group-containing oligomer and the transition metal with which the oligomer coordinates, and is insoluble in a solvent.
