Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a phosphor element of a phosphor temperature sensor, which can obtain, by pressing a phosphor material alone, a phosphor element with a shape and a size maintained as designed by not causing shrinkage of the phosphor element after sintering.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a phosphor element of a phosphor temperature sensor, which includes the steps of: pressure-forming, with a pressure of 57 MPa, a material as a mixture of powdery ruby with diameters of 10 μm or less and powdery glass for binder with a content in the range of 30 ± 10wt%; heating the pressure-formed phosphor element from a room temperature to 650°C in a sintering furnace, keeping the phosphor element at 650°C for 30 minutes or longer, and letting the phosphor element to naturally cool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
