Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a blue to bluish green emitting phosphor which has a high luminous efficiency (high luminance) and high color rendering properties and suppressed in the aging of its luminance and to provide a high-luminance fluorescent lamp suppressed in the aging of its chromaticity.
CONSTITUTION: This phosphor is blue to bluish green emitting one substantially represented by the general formula: (M, Eu)10(PO4)6X2-x (wherein M is at least one element selected from among Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba; X is at least one element selected from among F, Cl and Br; and 0<x≤0.5). This fluorescent lamp has a coating layer 2 made from a phosphor containing the phosphor as at least a blue to bluish green emitting component on the inner surface of a glass tube 1.
