Title:
PHOSPHOR PARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014034597
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a phosphor with a simple process, without a need of adding a rare earth or an organic material.

A phosphor particle is made of laminar zinc hydroxide or hexagonal-plate-like zinc oxide, and capable of emitting light of wavelength 430-600 nm. After introducing ammonia water or ammonia gas into a zinc chloride aqueous solution while regulating pH within a range of 6.0-9.0 and synthesizing laminar zinc hydroxide chloride, the laminar zinc hydroxide chloride is treated by heat at 80-200°C in an atmosphere to produce a phosphor particle made of laminar zinc hydroxide or zinc oxide.
