Abstract:
To provide phosphorescent or fluorescent artificial stone having further improved luminescence characteristics such as capability of allowing phosphorescence, or fluorescence due to UV irradiation to continue over a long period of time, by controlling structure of the artificial stone.
This artificial stone contains transparent aggregate, at least one luminescent material selected from phosphorescent materials and fluorescent materials capable of causing fluorescence by UV irradiation, and a resin, and has higher performance with respect to luminescence i.e., phosphorescence or fluorescence than that of the phosphorescent or fluorescent material itself.
