Abstract:

To obtain a phosphoric acid based inorganic molding excellent in mechanical strength and an intermediate therefor.

A phosphoric acid based aqueous slurry which contains metal hydrogenphosphate, a hardening agent therefor, a hardening retarder and water and in which content of the hardening retarder is 0.1 to 25 wt.% is provided. A material for inorganic molding which contains the slurry and an inorganic reinforcing material of 10 to 50 wt.% of the slurry is provided. Further the phosphoric acid based inorganic molding which is formed by thermally hardening the material for inorganic molding and has bending strength of ≥25 Pa and modulus of bending elasticity of ≥15 GPa is provided.
