Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphorus adsorbent applicable to various concentration range from so-called environmental water to a treated water and capable of using the used adsorbent without performing a complicated regeneration treatment, and to provide a method for treatment of water using the same.SOLUTION: The underwater phosphorus adsorbent is produced by: mixing a binder with a soil generated through water purification using polysilica iron (PSI) as a flocculant; and thereafter molding and burning the resultant mixture.
