PURPOSE: To provide the above degreasing liquid which exhibits an excellent cleaning effect in spite of continuous use at a low temp. and can impart a surface having a good chemical conversion treating property to metal by using NaOH, Na2CO3 and NaHCO3 as inorg. builder components to be compounded with silicate.
CONSTITUTION: This degreasing liquid is an aq. alkaline liquid contg., by weight %, 0.05 to 0.30 (in terms of SiO2) silicate, 0.4 to 3.0 inorg. builder consisting of ≥1 kind among the NaOH, Na2CO3 and NaHCO3, 0.01 to 0.5 ethylenediaminetetraacetate and/or nitrilotriacetate, 0.1 to 0.5≥1 kinds among polyacrylate, cyclopentanetetracarboxylate and urethanated PVA and 0.2 to 0.6 surfactant. The pH value A thereof satisfies y≤A≤13, where y=0.6x+9.2 and x denotes the % value obtd. by converting the concn. of the silicate of the above-mentioned soln. to the concn. of SiO2.
