To provide a photo frame which can mix user contents and distributed contents and successively display the mixture, and can optionally and easily vary a mixing ratio, a display sequence, display intervals, etc. of the content groups.
The photo frame 400 communicates with a content distribution device 100 through the Internet 300 and receives distributed contents and a distribution play list which specifies the order of reproduction of the distributed contents as needed. In accordance with the user setting, a user content list which specifies the order of reproduction of the user contents is generated. The user content list and the distribution play list are combined according to a content combination rule so that the user contents are mixed with the distributed contents, and the mixture is successively reproduced. The mixing ratio, the display sequence, the display intervals, etc., of the user contents and the distributed contents can be optionally and easily varied by varying (parameters of) the content combination rule.
