Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a photo-tube which can effectively collect photo-electrons generated by a photo-electric cathode, and also provide a radiations sensing device which is equipped with a good sensing efficiency for radiations.
CONSTITUTION: When receiving light, a photo-electric cathode 13 generates photo-electrons, and an anode 14 collects these photo-electrons generated by the cathode 13. The cathode 13 and anode 14 are installed in a glass bulb 12. The photo-electric cathode 13 is positioned in inclination to the light incident surface 12a of this glass bulb 12, and the anode 14 is arranged confronting the cathode 13.
