Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic apparatus which improves the accuracy of estimation of position deviation quantities of plural image data sets, by using the plural image data sets.SOLUTION: The photoacoustic apparatus comprises : a light irradiation unit 100 for irradiating a subject with light plural times; a reception unit 200 for receiving photoacoustic waves generated by the plural times of light irradiation to output plural electric signals respectively corresponding to the plural times of light irradiation; and an image data acquisition unit 500 which: acquires plural image data sets of the subject respectively corresponding to the plural times of light irradiation, on the basis of the plural electric signals; sets plural pairs of image data sets from the plural image data sets; acquires, for the plural pairs, a similarity function of relative positions of two image data sets forming a pair; acquires, for the plural pairs, a degree of reliability of the similarity function, on the basis of the similarity functions; and acquires position information after a position deviation of the plural image data sets, on the basis of the degrees of reliability of the similarity functions corresponding to the plural pairs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
