Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic endoscope capable of downsizing of a light source structure and simplifying a structure of light conducting pathway.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic endoscope 100 comprises; a light source part 10a(10b) being arranged on an endoscope main body 1 capable of being inserted into an inner section of a sampling object and comprising an LED element 10c; a detecting part 11 being arranged near the light source part 10a(10b) in the endoscope main body 1 and comprising a detecting surface 11b for detecting acoustic wave generated from a detection object in the sampling object having absorbed light from the light source part 10a(10b); and a reflection part 12 being arranged on the endoscope main body 1 and comprising a reflection surface 11b reflecting light generated by the LED element 10c of the endoscope main body 1 to a direction at a side of the detection object opposing to the detecting surface 11b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
