Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a mass-producible photocatalyst membrane at a reduced cost as well as to obtain a phorocatalyst membrane which has the enhanced performance of a photocatalytic reaction by forming polycrystalline spherical particles on the surface of the substrate of a photocatalyst membrane to increase the specific surface area and adsorption regions of the membrane.
In the photocatalyst membrane obtained by forming a TiO2-base catalyst layer on the surface of a substrate, the TiO2 in the catalyst layer is present as polycrystalline spherical particle having 10-200 μm average particle diameter.
