Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst-coated body comprising a surface layer having excellent nitrogen oxide (NO) removal ability while securing high transparency.SOLUTION: There is provided a photocatalyst-coated body which comprises at least a substrate and a surface layer which is provided on the surface of the substrate and mainly contains a particle component, wherein the particle component mainly comprises a first particle component, a second particle component and a third particle component, the first particle component is photocatalyst particles, the second particle component is tin oxide particles composed of tetravalent tetragonal crystals, the third particle component is nitrogen oxide-adsorbing particles, the nitrogen oxide-adsorbing particles are ZrOparticles and/or AlO, the content of the photocatalyst particles is 40 mass% or more based on the total of the particle components and the ratio (the tin oxide particles composed of tetravalent tetragonal crystals/the photocatalyst particles) of the content of the tin oxide particles composed of tetravalent tetragonal crystals to the content of the photocatalyst particles is 0.1 or more and less than 1.5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
