In the photocatalyst product prepared by fixing a photocatalyst on a substrate with a binder resin, powder having the photocatalytic activity is held on the surface of the binder resin while the surface of the powder is exposed out of the resin. The photocatalyst consists of a photosemiconductor or a mixture thereof and at least one of metal powder and adsorbent. The photocatalyst product is produced by applying the binder resin on the substrate and spraying the photocatalyst powder onto the resin while the applied resin still has cohesive properties so as to fix the photocatalyst with the binder resin to the substrate.
