Title:
DEVICE FOR DETECTING INTENSITY OF MAGNETISM OF TONER IMAGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3223983
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control the quality of a developed image by controlling the processing part of a printer by utilizing magnetic encoding information on a document, copied with a magnetic toner.
CONSTITUTION: The printer develops a latent image recorded on a photoconductive member 12 with permeable toner particles 27, which are saturation-magnetized. A reading head 14, arranged to be opposed to the photoconductive member, detects the effects of the intensity of magnetism generated by the leading edge and the trailing edge of the toner particle 27 on a recorded character. By using a detected signal, the quality of the developed image is controlled.
